The fitout aimed to achieve a "balance between nature and modern sophistication." Extensive greenery, low-profile diffusers and detailed lighting details were used to achieve this effect. A variety of spaces were desired - informal meeting, cafe, boardroom and workstation areas. Each of these required a different approach to lighting and air-conditioning.
LED lights were used extensively, along with more traditional T5 fixtures. Swirl diffusers improved thermal comfort and minimised the negative effects of a relatively low ceiling.
Lehr were engaged to provide environmentally sustainable advice (ESD) as well as building engineering services (Mechanical, Electrical, Specialist Lighting, Fire, Hydraulics and Audio Visual).
